This half day workshop will explore the themes of Mental Toughness, control, commitment, challenge and confidence and will include interactive taster sessions, smaller group discussions and mini coaching sessions.

The objective of the course is to introduce you to practical tools and techniques to enable you to confidently explore these themes with your students and will also count towards your CPD.

The workshop


  • To introduce participants to an important concept and model – fulfilling an important CPD need.
  • To indicate simple and practical approaches to developing wellbeing and a positive frame of mind using Kingswood learning activities.
  • To provoke thinking about developing individuals, teams and schools.

What can I expect from the programme?

  • A highly participative event – optimising the opportunity to understand the concept enjoyably. Delegates will have the opportunity to complete the MTQ48 measure free of charge prior to attending the workshop.
  • Effective – delegates will be able to use the concepts to their full almost immediately

Ultimately you will be equipped with knowledge and skills to optimise your own performance and wellbeing and to work with others to do the same for them.
