Have you ever had one of those “I can’t believe I didn’t think of that before moments!”?

I just did when I came across a poem I’d had on my study wall for several years when I was going through a difficult time in my life. The poem in question was Invictus by William Ernest Henley.

While I’d drafted fun posts on mental toughness songs and films I’d never thought to do one on poems. So here are a list of 10.

1.   Invictus – William Ernest Henley

2.   Mental Strength – Joesph Miller

3.   Mental Toughness – Bette Dalia

4.   It Couldn’t Be Done – Edgar Guest

5.   If – Rudyard Kipling

6.   You can if you thin you can – C. W. Longenecker

7.   Woulda, Coulda, Shoulds – Silverstein

8.   The Victor – C. W. Longenecker

9.   The Quitter – Robert William Service

10. Our Greatest Fear – Marianne Williamson

If you know of any others, or better yet you have written one, please share below. I’d love to read them.
