September 3rd sees the publication of the 3rd Edition of Developing Mental Toughness. Since its initial launch in 2012, the book has become the leading text on the topic, translated into several major languages.

We are proud that the book is not only relevant but has an enduring appeal.

The new 2021 Edition is a major re-write of the original and brings together observations from a vast body of research as well as examples and case studies from a growing body of applications in almost every sector and from around the world.

The eagle-eyed will note that John Perry has joined the authorship. Again, helping to bring significant and valuable insights around the application of this most important of concepts.

As we move through periods of turbulence, stressors and opportunity, our understanding of the way we (and organisations) respond mentally to events is of paramount importance. As is our ability to assess this reliably and guide others to optimise their responses – enabling all to become the best versions of themselves that they can be.

Describing the extent to which we are both resilient in the face of adversity as well as positive about what the future holds, our Mental Toughness has a significant impact on wellbeing and performance as well as our agility in dealing with change.
